SP+ Parking

Parking is easy since it's right out in the open and it's easy to get in and out. Unfortunately they don't clean the snow and if they did, they didn't do a good job since it's very slippery and it snowed a day ago when other places already cleaned this parking lot has not. So if you're looking for parking when it's not snowing or raining this would be ok. Otherwise maybe park where they either clean or indoors would be better.

Method of pay is not customer friendly. Lots of issues with machine, Extremely loud alarm sounds for no apparent reason. Person on end of transmission is not very good with English and the volume is way TOO LOUD. This makes understanding him even more difficult. Very reluctant to actually come in person to resolve issue. I would walk 3 miles and park elsewhere rather than ever park here again.

We were unaware that we weren’t able to use debit card when we first got into the parking lot. When we went to pay at the exit we put into the machine our parking ticket. We then realized that they wouldn’t be able to pay with a debit card. We pushed The assistance button, and the man on the phone told us to go to one of the kiosks that except cash. We tried to get our parking ticket out of the kiosk and it wouldn’t let us have back or parking ticket. We then went to the cash kiosk and hit the system button again and the man on the assistance line was no help and basically told us that we lost our ticket when in fact the machine stole it because we were not informed and it was not labeled properly that we could not pay with debit card at that machine. there wasn’t a cancel button on the machine and the guy kept repeating the same message over and over again that was not helpful after we explained our situation probably a total of five times to him. We then went to the other kiosk in the inside building and there we hit the cancel button as we were instructed to do by the other assistant man and we were not able to receive a last ticket like receipt so we could pay and by the way we only had cash and a debit card on us. The man was extremely unhelpful and kept repeating repeating to go to the exit when we didn’t have a credit card to pay and you can’t pay without a freaking credit card. In the end my brother who lives 10 minutes away how to come and pay with his credit card to help us get out of the lot after about a total of 45 minutes I’ll try to leave the parking lot. I am extremely disappointed with our help from the machine as I feel as though assistive button should actually provide a sister and not make us want to punch ourselves. We also had to pay the full $35 when the original amounts we were supposed to pay was 21 because we “lost our parking ticket” what in fact it was stolen by the machine.
